"The Middy Run" - A return run of 73 miles along quiet roads through picturesque villages in Norfolk and Suffolk to the Mid Suffolk Railway. The Mid-Suffolk Light Railway is a heritage railway which in its heyday was a branch line running for just 19 miles from Haughley to Laxfield. A section of the railway at Brockford has been recreated with original station buildings which capture the atmosphere of this quirky line. One of the lines tank engines should be in steam. Facilities include a small gift shop, museum, canteen style restaurant, craft ale bar coach, and toilets. No Regs but would prefer older bikes as we will be put on display for members of the public to view while we have lunch. Petrol on route, no back up available. The BMW motocycle owners club will also be at the railway - mostly on modern bikes so if you have an old BMW it would be interesting to show.
As its at the Railway and with BMW owners this will be a recruitment event so any machines and non members are welcome.
Restrictions
None, but older bikes preferred especially BMWs
