Route 11 Run

The Route 11 Run on Sunday the 30th was a success with nineteen people signing on and seventeen bikes of varying ages and types; the oldest being John Wells’s  1927 BSA 500cc and the newest Mickey Lee’s LC 350 Yamaha.

The route took riders through some pretty villages like Crown Thorpe, Mattishall, Swanton Morley, Great Ryburgh and Colkirk to The Bull Litcham where lunch was served very quickly thanks to Sue and her team.

The afternoon route took the riders through East and West Lexham, Swaffham, South Pickenham and Watton back to Route 11. The weather was very kind to us unlike the previous Sunday  when we got drenched. The only casualty was Alan Gidley's side car outfit which suffered clutch problems and set out for home about three miles into the route. Four riders from the Kings Lynn Section participated and said how much they really liked the route, so it was a good day all in all.
