Round Norfolk Challenge

On the only stormy day forecast in an otherwise glorious July, 29 brave folk arrived early to take on the Challenge. The new start point of the George and Dragon at Thurton provided ample parking and the function room was ideal for signing on and having a hot drink. We had a range of machines from 1920's flat tankers to 1980 Japanese bikes. All met the Challenge successfully bar an Ariel which Mickey recovered. It was good to have several members from other sections and newcomers take part. Fortunately we missed the heavy rain but did catch some strong gusts of wind in places. As usual we enjoyed coffee at the Kings Arms at Blakeney, lunch at Mundford and a sandwich buffet and chips back at Thurton.
It was good to see many Round Norfolk Challenge T-shirts being worn. A big thank you to all who helped the event to take place and everyone who came and took part.
