Shakedown Event

This year's Shakedown Event moved to 100th Bomber Group Museum at Dickleburgh.

The new venue offered a cafe with hot drinks and snacks, a museum to the personnel of the 100th Bomb Group and a mile of airfield peri track loaned to us for the day by the owner of the field.

26 riders signed on in the cafe with a lot more coming along for a chat. the day was dry but cold.

Peter, Arthur, Mike and Brian became the field marshals for the day with Peter picking up any breakdowns with his van. Only one bike broke down and had to be collected.

Richard turned up on the rebuilt Humber that was uncovered in a shed locally last year.Humber

The winner of the most desirable machine was Nick's AJS V Twin.

We would like to thank Peter and Tamara for organising the Event, the volunteer staff at the museum, the land owner for allowing us access to the peri track and the field marshalls.

Lets hope we can do the same thing next year.
