Bloody Hundredth Run

To help commemorate the 75 years that the 100th Bomber Group has been stationed at Thorpe Abbotts the museum put on a special day called "Remembering The Past". Peter decided that it would be a good start for a Run on the same route as the Pre 31 Run earlier in the year and that we would join in the commemoration.

There were a large number of US Jeeps and other military vehicles on display . 14 riders and 1 passenger started the run at 11.00 going south through the Waveney Valley villages of Syleham and Hoxne then heading west through Thornham Magna and Gislingham. We then headed north through Redgrave and Ragmere finishing up at Jimmy's Cafe, Old Buckenham Airfield.

The afternoon was a short route back to Thorpe Abbotts via Aslacton and Rushall. The vehicles were added to the display of vehicles which included a couple of Hot Rods.

Our thanks go to Peter for the route and backup, Cynthia for sign on, Jimmy's Cafe for a speedy service on our arrival and all the volunteers at the Museum for making us welcome.
